When you buy a property in Casco Viejo with the purpose of restoring it you can get mortgage loans with preferred interest rates and also the owner of a property on this area will be exempt of paying taxes derived from the profits generated by commercial, professional or industrial activities which are carried out and have their effects in the Casco Antiguo, for ten (10) years counted from the restoration of the occupied property.

Is also important to know that the profits derived from the sale of the property will be exempt from paying the income tax and the property will be exempt of paying property taxes from 30 years since the inscription on Public Registry of the restoration of the property.
